i bet you all thought i was being a big ole slacker! well i wasnt, well kinda of but not really, but kind of forced to be. all cabinets are set, all the spackle has been sanded. we even had the digitals done for the counter tops, which is super exciting because that will be the longest wait time for us, so i am glad we got that done asap! (a little tip: counter tops take about 2 weeks from measurement to install, so this my friends is where you need to work on your patience, im not good at patience!)
i havent been able to update because we just now were allowed back in after having the floors done. we opted to put hardwood in the kitchen and the “new room” and since we had preexisting hardwood in the living and dining room and the hallway we needed to “feather” in new hard wood, strip and sand everything old and lay a gorgeous mix of stains and the final product i AAAMMMAAZZING (probably my favorite transformation so far, but that will be tomorrows post).

all were laid out, anchored and installed in two days! it was so exciting to see what we’ve looked at on a little piece of paper transform into real life!
we still have some lights to hang, hardware to be installed on all the cabinet doors and drawers but were getting sooo close!
thanks to mother natures keeping us locked up in here for most of today, we were able to tackle some cleaning, washing down walls and ridding the house of dust, we were able to get some furniture put back in and prep for more electrical work AND appliance delivery tomorrow!! so hopefully if we get hit with the possible 3 feet of snow this weekend, we will at least have a fridge full of food and a stove to cook with IF i feel daring enough to turn it on!
the studio has been used for “storage” for most of the reno and tomorrow i hope to get it all put back together. i tried really hard in the last 4 days to answer most emails, etc while we were away from home, if yours was missed or your still waiting on a response, i promise im making my way through it all (muchas gracias for all YOUR patience!!)
